Most Entertaining Airline Alliance

oneworld Alliance airline members received multiple awards for their in-flight entertainment services as announced on October 5, 2005. oneworld member cleared house with 7 of the 12 Avion awards given out by the World Airline Entertainment Association.

Airline members from other alliances received two awards between them.

The oneworld’s winners:

• Quantas Airways - Best Overall In-Flight Entertainment - Best In-Flight Magazine - Best In-Flight Entertainment Magazine
• American Airlines- Best Shorthaul In-Flight Video Programming - Single In-Flight Audio Program - 2nd place for Best Overall In-Flight Entertainment
• Cathay Pacific Airways - Best Longhaul In-Flight Video Programing
• LAN Airlines - 2nd place for Best Overall In-Flight Entertainment for an airline with less than 50 aircrafts
